1990 Yugo GV Plus
Please take a moment to read about the previous owner of this car.
So I guess its just one of those things. You own Yugos, you know Yugo people, more Yugos come into your life. And so it goes that I get an email from the guru of all things Yugo and the man who first got me interested in Yugos, Dave Benton, aka YugoDave. He is in town, unfortunately due to the passing of a former Yugo of America co-worker. The gentleman's widow is looking for homes for a few of the Yugos left behind. To cut the story short I enede up with another EFI Yugo, just what I have been looking for to use as a test mule to set up the new engine for the race car. It is such a clean little car, no rust at all, that I am going to attempt to bring it back to the streets once its done serving its purpose for engine setup. Unfortunately the previous owner was setting it up for racing so its somewhat gutted too. Even more unfortunately, after 2 years of looking at the pile of parts I took off the racecar I started throwing things out. All the things I needed to put this car back together....aaaargh.
She was pretty dirty from sitting, but cleaned up well.

I did happen to keep the old bumpers so I have a good replacement for this. |
