Since the shop is relatively empty right now with the project Landcruiser moving to its own shop and the VW projects having moved on to a new home the time was right to finally redo the Misfittoys shop the way we've wanted it. As usual I forgot some good before pictures but I stopped to do these pictures at the halfway point as I have a few days delay while the floor cures in the first half. Compare the unfinished side with the new work and you will get an idea of where we started and where we are going.
Clutter clutter everywhere, although somewhat exaggerated by having everything moved to on half the shop while the other is redone its not a far cry from the clutter level when there were 4 cars undergoing work at the same time here.
Ahhh, the contrast in the floors, both sides looked this bad at the beginning, it was alot of work just to get them clean enough to paint.
And now, the redo!
Kind of amazing the difference some paint and organization can make eh?
Although not quite as appearent in these photos the light level in the shop is vastly improved with the walls and ceiling receiving a fresh coat of white.
The freshly painted floors look great and are a vast improvement over the dirty old stained concrete.
